The partnership combines Spoor’s AI-powered bird and bat monitoring with WISE Group’s system design, installation, and operational expertise across offshore and onshore wind.

Madrid, 21 April 2026 — Spoor and WISE Group today announced a partnership to deliver integrated bird and bat monitoring systems for the wind energy industry.

The partnership combines Spoor’s AI-powered detection, tracking, and classification of birds and bats with WISE Group’s expertise in system design, installation, and support for monitoring infrastructure in demanding environments, both offshore and onshore.

Together, the two companies offer wind energy developers and operators a monitoring solution that goes beyond data collection: reducing wildlife risk, producing regulator-ready evidence, and turning bird and bat monitoring into operational intelligence. By integrating WISE Group’s sensor infrastructure and meteorological data with Spoor’s AI, wildlife activity can be interpreted alongside environmental conditions, delivering richer, more actionable insight.

As wind energy projects grow in scale and complexity, developers need monitoring systems that are not only technically capable but operationally reliable. That means proven hardware, installation and maintenance capability in harsh conditions, and software that delivers credible data from day one. The Spoor and WISE Group partnership is built to meet that need.

“Offshore wind demands the same standards of monitoring reliability we have built our reputation on across decades of offshore operations. Partnering with Spoor is a natural extension of that commitment, bringing AI-driven environmental intelligence into a field-proven monitoring framework.”Jon Arne Silgjerd, Chairman and CCO, WISE Group
“Developers need more than monitoring tools. They need reliable environmental data they can use to reduce uncertainty, support permitting, and make better decisions offshore. By combining Spoor’s AI-powered bird monitoring with WISE Group’s offshore delivery capability, we are making that possible in a much more operationally robust way.”Ask Helseth, CEO and Co-founder of Spoor
“Making advanced camera systems and AI software perform together reliably in harsh environments is a systems engineering challenge as much as a technology one. WISE Group brings that capability to the Spoor partnership, with the field services and project execution teams to deliver it wherever it is needed.”Vebjørn Larsen, Visual Monitoring Manager, WISE Group
